HAPPY PORTRAIT MONDAY

This Happy Portrait Monday portrait was selected by Aaron Hobson and Sunshine Frere.

I chose the work of American Photographer Aaron Hobson, his work is always self-referential, Hobson's 'Cinemascapes' series are almost entirely self-portrait works. I particularly love this one, as it almost feels as though he is floating in a dreamscape completely submerged underwater, the blues are incredibly calming and the fire of the lighter he is using for his cigarette make the frost and cold earth feel incredibly cozy somehow.  - Sunshine Frere
