If you happen to be in Edmonton this October, be sure to check out David Wilson's exhibition at the Agnes Bugera Gallery (soon to be called the Bugera Matheson Gallery), the show opened yesterday, October 4th. Wilson's slick oil paintings bring a rainy slice of Vancouver to the Edmonton locality. In some of Wilson's best-known paintings, night-time lights shimmer on commutes that are all too familiar to us Vancouverites -- Granville Street and Gastown are especially prominent in Wilson's work.
