MOV: SEX TALK IN THE CITY

Sex Talk in the City
Museum of Vancouver

February 14 - September 2, 2013

There has been a lot of talk about sex at the Museum of Vancouver in the past month or so with the current Sex Talk in the City exhibition. If you are 15 or over, you can join the dialogue about sexual expression, diversity, politics and education. The material has been aimed to be represented in a fun way that also provokes your own ideas and thoughts in the matter.

The exhibition has been realized and co-produced with Options for Sexual Health. In addition to that, MOV collaborates with Vancouver Queer Film Festival, Vancouver School Board as well as public health experts, sexologists, historians, artists, education scholars, activists and youth to create as informed an exhibition as possible.

The interactivity of the exhibition seems to be a real draw for the crowd who are clearly having a good time at the opening of Sex Talk in the City (photographs courtesy of MOV).

To find out more about the exhibition, watch this interview with Viviane Gosselin, the curator of Contemporary Issues at the Museum of Vancouver and the lead curator of Sex Talk in the City.
