Vancouver's new Capture Photography festival celebrates Vancouver's historically powerful roster of photo-conceptual artists, and brings to light emerging artists working in the photography medium. To raise funds for the festival, which will be taking place from October 1st to November 15th this year, Capture is hosting a live auction of works by prominent participating artists such as Edward Burtynsky, Christos Dikeakos, Dina Goldstein, Fred Herzog, Danny Singer, and Winsor Gallery's Brian Howell.

The auction is taking place tonight, from 6:30-10:30pm, at a private West Vancouver residence, and is book-ended by cocktail and dessert receptions. Best of luck to all the participating artists!
