Martha Varcoe Sturdy took a few moments this week to speak with us about her latest series, Breaking. Always pragmatic and opinionated, she chatted with us about the issues that are most central to her artistic practice while showing us around her busy East Vancouver studio. Breaking opens at Winsor Gallery this evening, May 8th. The opening reception will be from 6-8pm, for which Martha will be present.
