Saskatchewan-born painter Andrew Salgado is one of our favourite artists, receiving global exposure in Europe, South Africa, Asia, Canada and the US for his cropped male figures. Salgado looks to painting conventions of the past, and through these manages to bridge the gap between traditional portraiture and a deconstructed contemporary viewpoint of a vulnerable masculine subject.  Check out his amazing website here to see all of his work!
