THE ART GALLERY OF GREATER VICTORIA PRESENTS DANA CLAXTON'S "INDIAN CANDY"

We are very pleased to share the news that Dana Claxton's work will be touring! 

The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria presents "Indian Candy,"a collection of nine Dana Claxton works, curated by Toby Lawrence. Dana Claxton's works articulate her attempts “to bring forth a reversal of a whitewash of history by using vibrant colours to beautify the history and make historical discourses and research documents into critical contemporary art that has been influenced by pop art, political art, and shared and contested histories.”

The show will be on June 27 through September 7, 2014 at the The LAB Gallery. If you are on the island, head over to the AGGV for some colourful inspired work!
