ALEX CALDWELL'S WORK IN GLENBOW MUSEUM

Alexander Caldwell's piece Thunderhead (2013) will be apart of Calgary's Glenbow Museums fifth and final installment of the groundbreaking survey of regional art, Made in Calgary: The 2000s reflecting the energy and diversity of the arts community in the first decade of the twenty-first century.

Made in Calgary: The 2000s is final installment of a multi- season exhibition series that explored the character of Calgary's artistic community from 1960 to 2010. The exhibitions draw on influence of the individual artists in the context of the social and cultural factors that inspired their work. 

The Glenbow Museum's Made in Calgary started back in February 2013 with Made in Calgary: The 1960s. The last installment of the series will open September 20 until December 14, 2014. It is a great opportunity to see what is happening in Calgary!
