Kansas-born artist Charlie Roberts cites his early influences as ranging from traditional folk art to the opus of art world outsider Henry Darger. Roberts, who received his BFA at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, now lives in Norway. His work transforms elements of art history and pop culture and through an and oneiric gaze.
