Today's Abstract Wednesday is brought to you by Alexis Dirks' Dip Slip and Wayward, which opens here at Winsor Gallery tonight from 6-8pm. Dirks deconstructs found images to destabilize our known relationships with them, and will often install photography in unexpected ways. In Wayward, she will be showing Dip Slip, above, wallpapered directly onto the gallery walls, and Enhance Merge Shield, flag-like prints on silk that are arranged on the floor.
