JUST ANNOUNCED: ANGELA GROSSMANN AT THE BEIJING BIENNALE

Angela Grossmann has been invited to exhibit at the 6th annual Beijing Biennale. Her work will be featured at the Canadian Pavillion, along with fellow luminaries Ed Pien, Douglas Coupland, Pierre Doiron, Carol Wainio, Wally Dion, Sara Angelucci,Yam Lau, Max Streicher, and Gord Peteran.

The theme of this year's biennale, Memory and Dreams, is especially pertinent to Grossmann's body of work. These historical yet anonymous images, which seem to float up from a collective past, re-portray gendered and sexual identity as it is remembered, retold, and enacted. Congratulations, Angela!
