part of a larger Gala after the auction for Contemporary Calgary. The table and paddles are hand-painted, and the whole space is blacklit. the darkened environment becomes a safe, anonymous space for citizens to play while conversely, the props become a and highly charged dramatic/aesthetic objects to consider. 

The night was fantastic, and people were engaged nonstop. I have a few different modes of play, with hand produced ribbons for winners/losers/participants. It was incredibly well received, garnering much attention from Art world folks and civilians alike… very fun and collegial!
